Our community is proud to be the sponsor of great events. We have hosted a yearly “An Evening with …. “ featuring speakers such as Don Miguel Ruiz, (author of The Four Agreements), scientist Peter Russell, and Corporate Visionary Aman Motwane.
We have also presented many spiritual movies: the Indigo Evolution, The Celestine Prophecy, Conversations with God, Peaceful Warrior, Illusion, and You Can Heal Your Life with Louise Hay.
Our Community likes to celebrate and has had some great social events – Western BBQ, Celtic Garden Party, Prosperous Party, (a play on Canadian elections), a family Masquerade Ball, a monthly women’s circle, a monthly Divine Dining, combined picnics and services with the UCRS church in Vancouver, and others.
Celebration Centre also believes in volunteer work. We served our greater community by volunteering for the Breakfast Club at Nicomekl Elementary School on Mondays for two years, sponsored two different families during the last two winter holiday seasons, and this year, created wonderful holiday bags to be given to disenfranchised people in our city.
